Welcome to Davyhulme Social Club

The club was established in 1908 and the new clubhouse was opened in time for our centenary in 2008. The club is supported by approximately 90 members who enjoy bowling and all the social occasions we organise during the winter months which include Quiz and Hotpot Supper evenings, Cheese and Wine evenings and Musical evenings. We also have a number of coffee mornings usually on a Saturday morning and a Christmas Social gathering in December. We have a mixed team who play in the Urmston League, two mixed teams in the Trafford Evening League, one ladies team playing in the Southern Evening League, a ladies team playing in the Urmston Afternoon League, a team playing in the Altrincham / South Manchester League and a team playing in the Timperley Vets League. There is also a ladies social bowling afternoon on Thursdays. We also have Round Robin Competitions on a Wednesday afternoon which are open to members from other local bowling clubs and once a month on a Sunday afternoon for our club members only. In the winter we also have indoor bowling in the clubhouse. We always welcome new members, either established players or beginners.
